„The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. We happily stay here again. “

„From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had nothing but friendly attentive service from the staff at the pub. We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped. We had breakfast included and this was first class with locally sourced food included. We had two evening dinners at the pub and both were excellent from the very varied menu on offer. “

„We enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Crown Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and ensured that we had everything we needed. The en-suite room was clean and comfortable and the meals were generously proportioned. We will recommend this hotel to friends and family. “

„Nice family operated Inn with friendly staff. Good food and nice freshly made breakfast. We spent two nights and for us it was a perfect stop on our way to Cornwall. Nearby there are very nice places to visit like Dunster, Valley of Rocks, Lynton-Lynmouth, ...“

„Unfortunately Check-In was a Bad experience, as the Hotel seems to have either Problems with their staff or a poor booking/payment system and we were asked to pay “again” although it was paid via Expedia. Or it is a problem because of Expedia. However, not acceptable for a customer “

„Traditionelles Haus mit wunderschönem Garten und guten Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen. Am Regentag war es schön hier ein Hotel zu haben mit großem Zimmer und Schwimmbad. Das zahlreiche Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir wählen die Dinner Option die ein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis beinhaltet. Das Essen ist gut gemacht und wir sitzen im schön arrangierten Speisezimmer. Einziger Malus ist, dass es im Zimmer leicht nach Hund riecht.“

„We had an amazing time staying at Allercott Farm. The cottage was beautiful, cosy and very peaceful at night, and you’re right in the middle of Exmoor so you can drive for around 20 minutes any way at all and find yourself at one of the many walks. Hosts were awfully lovely, as were their several friendly dogs who were keen to say hello. We’d absolutely consider staying again sometime to visit more of the national park. 😊“
