„The dishwasher didn’t work, I tried to notify our contact, but I wasn’t able to get ahold of them. There is a laundry facility that shares the driveway, and sometimes their trucks block you in. We did enjoy our stay.“

„Beach front cabin could not be beat for location and the cabin was clean and a great home base for all things Mackinaw city within walking distance, including the ferry to Mackinac Island. Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes! „Cabin is in a great location. Short drive to any of the amazing area attractions. The cabin was simple but updated. The host met us on our arrival and showed us in. He also checked I with us the next day to make sure we didn't need anything. The cabin sits right on the lake, with a gorgeous view morning or evening. We didn't spend too much time at the cabin other than to sleep as we were there to see Mackinac, St. Ignace and some of the beautiful fall colors, but we'd definitely stay again ...

„Space was exactly like the listing, with a parking spot right out front. Less than 10 minute walk to restaurants and the Ferry Launch. Host was quickly responsive, although we had no issues during our stay. Check out was simple, just lock the door! Loved not having to play maid service like with other properties. „We really needed a day or 2 more, but we knew that when we booked. There was everything we could have needed on site, even the stuff i forgot. Lol(shampoo). Plenty of fun stuff to do at the cabin for a group, and really no reason to leave if you didnt have to. Once we arrived and built a fire, there was never an issue with being warm enough. „The fridge froze everything solid. There was no broom to sweep the dirt out of the cabin. But the location was beautiful. The cabin was beautiful and it was extremely relaxing. We didnt have no wood for the burn pit which the add on line saud it was provided. I would stsy again but i would definitely ask for a broom and then make sure the fridge worked properly. “

„This was one of the best VRBO experiences we've had - great host, outstanding location, comfortable accommodations. Everything we needed was readily available, the furnishings were comfortable, and Mary Lynn is an excellent host. She left us homemade banana bread and allowed us to use her golf cart to be able to see the shoreline at sunset. We would highly recommend this to our friends, and won't stay anywhere else if we return to the area.“

The lakefront location was wonderful (don’t miss out on the beautiful sunsets and excellent late night star gazing) and the cabin had all the amenities we needed. The cabin was a bit difficult to find at night if you’re driving in for the first time. The location was great and not too far away from the neighboring cities. „We loved our stay at Acorn Cottage! The cottage was easy to get to, and it was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was clean with just enough space for our family of four (our 4-legged family member included). There's a beautiful view over looking the lake from the back deck area.
