There were no working smoke detectors, even with a wood burning stove in the cabin. There were no CO2 detectors and the furnace filter was neglected and dirty. An outlet exposed without a cover and there was some type of leak in the bathroom that caused the floor to be moist/wet. The listing stated they have WiFi, but the DSL was not operational. „Second stay at this property. Amazing location and cabin. Very responsive and gracious host. There are very few properties like this one. Ignore the less than stellar reviews if you know what to expect at a Maine camp. Peace, quiet, amazing sunsets and views. We’ll be back again.“

„Was beautiful and quiet. Perfect for a gathering. BUT hot tub overheated once and was 111 (WAY too hot to get into), and it kept tripping the breaker so had to keep resetting it. Also departing conditions says to put trash in dumpster. Couldn’t find a dumpster anywhere on the property or road, ended up having to bring it home in a car. But over all was a great place to stay. May go back again with family. Was beautiful and just want 6 mommas needed for a Mother’s Day weekend get away. “

„A very quiet and pleasant location. Very comfortable camp, nice beds, well stocked kitchen, nice new appliances. It is right on the water which we loved. We also loved that the pond is motor boat free so all we heard were the loons. Great camp and will definitely be going back again.“
