We are 15 minutes from downtown Eureka Springs. There are many restaurant options as well as a grocery store. Shop, find live music or do some Karaoke on Main St. Eureka Springs! Beaver Lake and Big Clifty Boat Ramp only 8 min away. Tiger Sanctuary is only 5 minutes away.

Beaver Lake is only 7 minutes away, and you can swim, kayak, fish and picnic here!

Welcome to your peaceful escape in the Ozarks! Just minutes from downtown Eureka Springs, this chalet was inspired by our travels in France. The chalet is only 8 minutes from Beaver Lake / Big Clifty swimming.

The outdoors are inside, with amazing views and light, and a sunroom perfect for a morning Nespresso or afternoon book. Soak in the jacuzzi tub after a day in town.

Step outside to your private balcony or private courtyard, where you can savor gorgeous daytime views and, on clear nights, a sky full of stars. While the property shares land with a few other small rentals, each one is spread out to ensure plenty of privacy and quiet.

This is the perfect spot for couples or solo travelers looking to recharge, reflect, or just enjoy the slower pace of nature—without sacrificing comfort - and designed for intimacy.

--Whether you’re here to explore Eureka Springs, hike the trails, or do absolutely nothing—this is your peaceful place to do it.

A detailed manual will be sent out once the booking is complete. It will have an overhead map and route to get to the chalet. The driveway is an unimproved road, safe for all vehicles in most conditions. We recommend a truck or SUV during inclement conditions. Very low cars might have some difficulty (such as a Corvette). The driveway is smooth but has an incline and decline portion.

There is wildlife on the property that occasionally can be seen (deer, armadillos, eagles, and hawks.) We actively spray for unwanted bugs and spiders. Please be mindful that Fox Wood is rural and wildlife will be present.

We are constantly adding new touches to the Chalet and Fox Wood Retreat, so be on the look out for new surprises. We have recently started clearing more land to better the views surrounding the property.

Because we are situated on 50 acres of pristine, actively managed nature, you will likely see local wildlife like deer and eagles! To keep the grounds looking immaculate, our professional landscaping team briefly services the property weekly.

We employ a professional cleaning staff adhering to CDC guidelines to make sure your stay is clean and comfortable.

To ensure temperature control, while conserving energy, the thermostat can be adjusted between 70-77 degrees F.
