Girraween, meaning 'place of flowers,' is especially beautiful in spring. Enjoy cooler summer temperatures, on average 10 degrees cooler than Brisbane. Embrace the essence of country life, where you can slow down, breathe deep, and unwind.

Girraween Country Inn is set in a peaceful rural location near Girraween National Park, so having your own vehicle is the best way to explore the region.
By Car
• Stanthorpe town centre – approx. 20 minutes
• Local wineries and cellar doors – 5 to 15 minutes
• Girraween National Park walking tracks – direct access nearby
The drive itself is part of the experience — scenic, quiet, and dotted with vineyards and granite landscapes.
Transport Options
• No public transport services nearby
• Limited taxi and rideshare availability in the region
• Local tour operators and winery tours should be arranged in advance to avoid dissapointment
