„Das Hotel liegt nicht direkt an einer Durchgangsstrasse, aber sehr schön mitten in einem Wandergebiet, sehr ruhig. Abendessen und Frühstück waren sehr gut. Wir waren auf der Durchreise. Der Abstecher hat sich gelohnt.“

„Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel, gleich neben dem Bahnhof. Herziges und sauberes Zimmer und Bad. Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Es hat viele Haken und Kleiderbügel, was sehr praktisch ist. Die Dusche funktioniert sehr gut und es fliesst sehr schnell heisses Wasser. Im Bad hat es genügend Ablagefläche und eine kleine Heizung, worüber ich froh war. „Ideally situated close to the centre of Berwick Upon Tweed. Excellent value for money. Compact room with small double bed, comfortable enough but a bit creaky. TV, Kettle and fridge in room aswell as a hairdryer. A few minor issues that could be improved upon are; TV is ok if you are connecting somwthing to it but the signal for the digital channels is terrible. There is no mirror next to plug sockets for styling hair etc. There are only 3 parking spaces and when we were there the first night, ...

„Nice, clean, well appointed room with kingsize bed. All staff were brilliant, happy, very helpful and responsive and their good teamwork was evident. The Wi-Fi worked well and the bar was well-stocked. Lovely surroundings and the field of Clydesdale horses in the neighbouring farm was delightful.“

„The cottage is next to the main road. No staying up late in bed in the mornings, the road noise woke us up from 7am. Quiet at night. The location is good, very central to explore Northumberland. Cottage well equipped, especially the kitchen. Communication was good with host. Good options for restaurants (3 within walking distance) and take aways, Coop and Budgens in the village. “
