„The view was beautiful. It was a view of an ocean and a small mountain. It was very peaceful and surreal. The room was very clean and equipped with everything that we needed. Staff was friendly and helped us find a cab. I was able to walk to Lindberg Bay Beach from the hotel. Nearby were beach activities like jet ski, boats and the taco bar. The hotel is right across the street from the airport and I was able to walk to the hotel, so that saved me money not having to get a taxi. One unfortunate ...

„I paid for the insurance I boarded the plane had a seizure the United Airlines was very helpful and was safe the property ignored me and wasn't able to communicate with no one and Expedia was unable to get help for me. I will never book here again as much as ai travel my 1st medical emergency and no accommodations were made. “

„Power went out often on the island, a generator is needed at this property. Out flight was cancelled and we lost a day. I was told we would get credit for that but haven’t received confirmation of that yet. Location is okay, taxi service is a few blocks away, restaurants close. Not sure if I’d return or recommend at this time, still waiting on owner to honor his verbal agreement. But no matter what, a generator is desperately needed to protect a quality experience. “

My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! “

„Close to the old town where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. You will have to walk up some steep hills to get there. The property is beautiful with amazing views. The buildings are older historic structures that have been modernized just enough for comfort but still feel vintage enough. Perfect for a retreat and the hosts are very accomodating“
