Experience a one-of-a-kind stay at Mt. Joseph, a luxurious condo in the heart of Downtown Enterprise, located in the renovated historic Litch Hotel. Designed with Western and Rodeo enthusiasts in mind, this unique space features a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, large bathroom, and comfortable living area. Dog-friendly and close to local attractions like Wallowa Lake and Joseph, it's the perfect base for exploring the wonders of Wallowa County.
Todd & Andy McKee, The McKee Brothers, own and operate the Litch Hotel which is part of Eagle Cap Vacation Rentals. They both live in Wallowa County, near Enterprise and are available to be onsite quickly if a need arises.
Mt. Joseph is located in the historic Litch Hotel on the corner of Main Street and River Street in Downtown Enterprise. Enterprise is generally quieter and slower paced than its more famous neighbor Joseph. Many guests that stay in the Litch Hotel have noted their appreciation for this feature of the location. On the other hand Joseph is a short 10 minute drive away making it a convenient access point to the many outdoor adventures that our guests plan to enjoy during their stays.
Back in the day, the Litch Hotel had 11 apartments and just one bathroom on the 2nd floor (can you imagine?! 😅), but don’t worry — times have definitely changed! Now, you’ll have your very own private bathroom and kitchen, so no awkward run-ins while you’re making that midnight snack 🍕. The entryway outside your unit is the only shared space, so feel free to get cozy and relax however you like — no one’s around to judge your Netflix binges or late-night PJs! 😎🛋️

A large bathroom with tile floors and a rain shower inside a large stand up tiled shower. A hiking themed hand drawn mural adorns the wall and large sink and lit mirror provides more than enough space for make up application.
☆☆ KITCHEN, LOUNGE & DINING ☆☆
The kitchen is well appointed. New appliances and new quartz countertops provide ample of food prep space. Appliances such as a Keurig coffee maker, blender and toaster help make the kitchen meet every guests needs. 16 spices and olive oil ensure your meals will be full of flavor. A small dining table by the front window along with two dining chairs allows for a comfortable dining experience using locally hand made plates, bowls and coffee cups. The kitchen opens into a living room space that provides a comfortable leather sofa facing a large HD flat screen smart TV. The living room also includes a cool chair suspended from the ceiling that guests are able to sit on.
☆☆ OUTDOOR SPACE ☆☆
The front door opens on to River Street directly across from the historical Wallowa County building. Your just a short walk away from several eating establishments and just a short drive away from the Wallowa Lake and the many outdoor opportunities that the Eagle Caps offer. There is plenty of on street parking for guests in the block surrounding the Litch Hotel. In more than a year of operating the hotel, we haven't had a guest complain about not being able to find convenient parking.

Enterprise might be small, but it's big on charm! Here’s how to make the most of your time without getting lost (not that it’s easy to do here 😄).
Downtown? Just walk outside. Yep, you’re basically in the middle of it. 🏙️ Perfect for a leisurely stroll to grab a coffee or check out local shops. ☕🛍️ Joseph is just a short 10-minute drive away for those wanting a taste of small-town fun or the beauty of Wallowa Lake! 🚙🌲 Wallowa Lake is about 15 minutes by car, and trust us, it’s worth the trip for a day of lakeside adventures. 🛶🎣 Need supplies? No worries — the grocery store is just a stone’s throw away. Perfect for stocking up on snacks or dinner essentials. 🍔🍫 Parking? Easy peasy! Free parking is right outside, so no need to stress about finding a spot. Not in the mood to drive? No problem! Enterprise is totally walkable, and biking around the area is always a great idea! 🚴♀️🌞

🔊NOISE CONSIDERATIONS: The Litch hotel is old and wasn’t built with modern soundproofing. You will hear sounds from adjacent units, whether above, below, or next door, as well as footsteps and movement on the stairs and in the hallways.
The Litch is designed for families, couples, and friends looking for a comfortable and fun place to relax after enjoying all that Wallowa County has to offer. However, if you’re looking for a place to have a bachelor party or kegger, this isn’t the right venue. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where all guests can enjoy their stay without excessive noise from others. Most guests are consciousness which allows everyone to have a great time. Occasionally a loud knucklehead will stay next door.
We ask all guests to be mindful of the noise they make especially during stated quite hours so all guests can fully enjoy their time here. Thank you for understanding and for helping us preserve the peaceful charm of the Litch Hotel!
👥EXTRA GUEST POLICY: Our nightly rate covers up to 2 guests. We can host up to 4 total: Additional guests are $30 per night Please be courteous let us know in advance if you’ll have extra guests. We don’t provide extra linens or supplies beyond the base rate, and unregistered guests may result in cancellation.
🐾PET-FRIENDLY UNIT NOTICE: Our unit welcomes guests with and without pets. While many visitors without pets have a great stay, we want to remind everyone that we cannot guarantee a dander-free environment. This may affect individuals with dog or cat allergies.
🐶PET POLICIES FOR GUESTS WITH PETS:
NUMBER OF PETS: A maximum of 2 pets allowed per reservation. Notify us at booking or as soon as possible if there are any changes. 💲PET FEE: A non-refundable fee of $30 + tax per night for each pet is required, including for ESAs. Please let us know at the time of booking if you are bringing any pups. BEHAVIOR AND ACCOMMODATIONS: Pets must be leashed in common areas, are not allowed on furniture or beds, and must not be left unattended in the unit. CLEAN UP: Owners must clean up after their pets; supplies are provided under the kitchen sink for indoor mishaps. DAMAGE AND LIABILITY: Guests are financially responsible for any damage or incidents caused by their pets. Owners will not be held liable for injuries or damages.

The building’s design, with thin walls and floors, allows sound to easily travel between units. Young children’s natural energy—running, jumping, and playing—can result in noise that significantly impacts the comfort of neighboring guests. If you are traveling with children under 8, we ask that you carefully consider whether the Litch is a good fit for your family’s needs. If you end up visiting, please understand the unique nature of the property and ensure your children are mindful of noise levels throughout your stay.

COMPLIMENTARY: Call after 12:30 PM on your arrival day if the unit will be ready prior to 3:00 we are happy to let you in early. GUARANTEED: Pre-arrange early check-in for $20/hour starting as early as 1:00 PM.
⏰CHECK-OUT: Required by 11:00 AM; late check-out available at $20/hour.
🚭NO SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited within the condo.
🎉PARTIES: Require prior approval.
🕧QUIET HOURS: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
🛌BEDS: Our beds include medium-firm memory foam mattresses, which most guests love but occasionally a guest finds too firm.
📹SECURITY: A video doorbell is in place on the exterior of the entrance.
🚪ENTRANCE DETAILS: This unit's front door opens directly onto the main thoroughfare in Enterprise. Blinds provide complete privacy and street noise has not been a significant concern to past guests.
🪟VENTILATION: This condo doesn't have any windows that can be opened. We account for this in 3 ways, 1) a ductless AC/Heat mini split, 2) ceiling fan and 3) an air purifier.
🧺WASHER/DRYER: there is no washer/dryer on site. There is a laundromat about 2 blocks away and you we offer a wash/fold service as well (Details available in our guidebook).
📺 TV & STREAMING INFO There’s a Smart TV ready for you to log in to your own apps like Netflix, Hulu, Prime, or Disney+.
Just a heads-up — there’s no cable or local channels. If you want live TV, you will need a service like Sling, Fubo, or YouTube TV.

Fun & unique decor! A comfortable home base to return to after a day of exploring. Do yourself a favor, and take the drive to Imnaha for lunch, ride the tram to the top of Mt. Great room, theme and comfort
Came to Enterprise for work and was thrilled to find the convenience of the location. The room was comfortable and being a rodeo fan, loved the theme and all the posters, saddles and paintings. Even the neon rodeo sign above the bed! Todd was easy to reach and so helpful. Will come back for something fun next time!

The location was great. We stayed in the Mt. Joseph room. The room was clean and looked exactly like the photos. Parking was right outside our room. The neighborhood was safe. The Red Rooster is a great place to eat. It is right around the corner. We would definitely stay there again.

This place was everything and more. From the clever decor, to the beyond clean appearance, and the above and beyond customer service. We will be back.

Excellent Experience and Stay
The property was masterfully constructed and designed. We really enjoyed the rodeo theme and all of the nice local touches. The entire property was delightfully clean and comfortable. The property owners contacted us multiple times before, during, and after our stay. I would highly recommend staying at any of their properties.
