A wrap-around porch, plus a stunning two-story screened-in porch, extend the living space for outdoor eating and lounging.

Contemporary Main House: The main house sleeps 8 adults (two king beds, one queen, and one full-sized daybed). You can count on a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of fresh Vermont Coffee Co. coffee, and a kid-friendly cupboard and playspace (we’re parents too!). The full bathroom upstairs has a bathtub, and the full bathroom downstairs includes a shower. For those with an eye for design, enjoy the thoughtful touches throughout this architectural gem that won Vermont Architecture Awards when it was built in the early 2000s. Natural light radiates throughout the space thanks to dramatic windows, and you'll find plenty of nooks where you can cozy up with a book or tea for the day.

The Shaker Cottage: This fully renovated, historic lakefront cottage offers a retreat from the hectic clutter of everyday life. A simple design encourages returning to the basics while you’re here — in comfort. Upstairs you'll find a king and queen bed in the open-to-below bedroom with lakefront views, a full-sized bathroom with a shower, and a washer and dryer. A queen sized sleeper sofa downstairs brings total sleeping capacity here to six adults. Catch the sunset from one of the rocking chairs on the wraparound porch. Enjoy the large yard, hammock, and lake amenities. Please note: The Shaker Cottage has a four-burner gas range and counter-top oven/air fryer with several settings, but no full-size oven. The full oven is in the Contemporary Main House.
