„A very warm and welcoming house. The sound of the rippling waters was wonderful to sit and listen and watch. Also being able to walk and catch a trout! The house was clean and well presented, everything you want for a comfortable stay and we were very cosy. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen. Our two labs loved the river and the property as well and we hope to come back again.“

„Mark the owner is absolutely lovely and so helpful! The photo's don't do it justice, the unit is even more beautiful and the surrounding bush is very peaceful. It has everything you need if you're keen to just hybernate for some peace away from work/ kids etc and also lots of beautiful bush tracks and creeks to explore nearby. „Stayed over the Anzac Day weekend with extended family including older (70s) and kids (8-12 year olds). All able to find something fun to do. Dad caught a carp. We collected wood for an outside fire and toasted marshmallows. Also hired kayaks from the Jameison Caravan Park with pick up at the Jameison Brewery. House was well equipped for cooking and the gorgeous kitchen bench was where we ended up eating most for meals. Would have used the outside dining table if it was warmer! The wood fire ...

House is a good setup with two separate toilets and two showers and four basins in separate bathrooms. Newly renovated bathrooms and toilets. However rest of house was cosy, if a little outdated. „Beautiful position amongst the trees in Sawmill Settlement. The house is a really cool design and build and bathrooms are lovely. The kitchen is modern and very well stocked with utensils and kitchen equipment. I meant to leave a note for the owner that it appears queen bed in room without the ensuite may have broken slats on the bed as the couple in that bed said they kept falling into gap so might be worth checking. Would be lovely base for hiking too.“
