Everything was just steps away. Perfect location. Enjoyed playing the piano. Please dust it...and the vase on the piano. Enjoyed our stay. “

„The host was super nice and accomodated our needs/request for an extension cord and help to print something. The beds were super comfortable and clean. I was especially grateful for the hot water since many places don't have that. The location is close to restaurants and stores. “

„We had a wonderful time at the Nauvoo Grand B & B. Laurie, the host was an amazing cook and host. Warm reception every time she saw us. We had a mix up in reservations at another hotel and ended up here, we are so happy we did and would do it again in a heartbeat.“

„Roomy, clean. Conditions seem to vary some from room to room (viz. TV size, carpeting vs. hard floor). We were by the laundry, so staff & equipment got kind of noisy at times. Locking mechanism on window was broken. Nauvoo is a very seasonal attraction, so lodging & dining venues there probably have a hard time making a go of it.“

„The breakfast was not very good. Not much for choices. Bathroom needed the wall and back of door scrubbed. Floor needed mopped. Carpet in hall and room were very clean. People were very nice.“

„Amazing antiques & flowers all around mansion & carriage house. They are still working on completing the renovations which was good for us because we got to go thru all the rooms & see all the furnishings. When we arrived Expedia hadn't notified staff (Dave & Pete) that we were coming but we had made reservations within an hour-ish before. So, our room hadn't been cleaned. „Very clean for the price. Very nice, accommodating staff. No strange smells in the room or in the bed which is really nice, usually booking via 3rd party apps gets you the crappy rooms but all the appliances worked well, there were toiletries and clean linens in the bathroom. Not sure about breakfast or where it would have been since I missed it.“

„There was hair on the bathroom counter that did not belong to us. The corners of the floor in the bathroom were packed with months of yucky buildup and the corner behind the bathroom door was really gross with a lot of dirt.“
