Apparently the website needs some attention as well - the hosts could not see our whole reservation. We were about to leave and find another hotel, but the hosts did some last minute shifting around to make a one night stay tolerable.“

The owner first said he couldn't host me because he was fully booked and asked me to cancel the reservation. After a few exchanges he said he could host me if I booked directly with him (at a higher price than what I had booked). At that time I could no longer cancel my reservation without paying any fee so, after he said he wouldn't respect my reservation I reported the issue to Expedia. Not so happy ...
