„I love that this is a repurposed elementary school! It was clean, roomy for the two of us (and our dogs). Plenty of grassy area. We are notbeer drinkers but the brewery is a great idea and looked like a nice patio to hang out in if it had been warmer. It is also convenient for a quick drive to downtown. We have already referred a friend to this place and would stay again if we return to Roanoke.“

„This was such a peaceful spot. We enjoyed sipping our coffee by the creek in the morning. The cabin was clean, spacious, and cozy. Our doggo loved the setup as well. Neta stopped by to introduce herself and made sure we had what we needed and if there were any questions. We'd definitely come back!“

„We were traveling into the area to attend the Virginia Tech commencement ceremonies. This was a fantastic find. Close enough to attend the events, but far enough to avoid the congestion in Blacksburg during this busy time of the year. When our usual dog sitter was unavailable, this allowed us to bring them along with us and they settled right in as well. We loved everything about the location and would highly recommend it to anyone considering traveling to the area. “

„The host answers questions almost instantaneously and accommodates within reason. The property is in the perfect location to downtown Roanoke. It was within a blocks walk from great restaurants, breweries, and activities . The property was clean and very comfortable. If I ever found my way back to the area I would stay here again!“

„We chose this rental because we could bring our dogs but we will be back because the place was terrific! The owners thought of everything, leaving us local coffee beans, dog treats, and ear plugs! The house is on a busy road but the back yard is fenced in and was perfect for our two fur babies. Cozy house that is close to great hiking trails. “

„We loved staying in this cozy place! The property was quiet and secluded with lots of wildlife. The house was very clean, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated. The host was incredible! We really appreciated all the small details throughout the house. “

„Photos do not show current decor. 1)Bedroom and closet doors are heavy BARN DOORS! - Big, dark brown, wood and metal --- UGLY and clunky to move. The bedrooms are very cramped with no place to put your luggage. Cosets are crammed with extra linens. 2)Kitchen seating is cramped and uncomfortabe. 3)Living Room furniture is older than the photos show with pealing “pleather”. Also, over-sized for really small room. 4)Bathroom is larger than Living Room.“

„When you live near a busy metro area, a stay in the country provides a much needed respite. Our family was quite comfortable and enjoyed gathering out on the porch. We enjoyed the "cow parade" and the sound of the stream! Our daughter graduated from VT over the weekend. The drive to and from Blacksburg was maybe 20 minutes. (Also loved the family history!) Thank you!“

„Tyler's weekend "wee" treat was an adorable little tiny house that was the perfect stay for a few nights. The tiny house looked exactly like the photos, and was on a very quiet dead-end road. It was a beautiful drive to get here! Since I was in the area for work, a basic kitchen and solid Wi-Fi were must-haves, and the tiny house did not disappoint. I was by myself, but you could comfortably fit two people. I'll be looking forward to staying here again the next time I'm in town! “

„We stayed at the Private Farmhouse while attending our son's college graduation. The home, property, and property manager were exceptional! We even had to adjust our stay and communication was prompt and generous with options. The property was immaculate and so beautiful. It is close to everything, quiet, and the views are amazing. "Beim Zimmer, das eine Verbindungstür zum Nebenzimmer hatte, war der Spalt am Boden sehr breit, so dass man alle Geräusche aus dem Nebenzimmer ungehindert hören konnte. Das Personal sofort ein paar Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt, um das Problem provisorisch zu lösen."

"Das Zimmer war super toll. Sauber und groß. Leider muss ich mich den vielen Bewertungen über den Lärm der Straße anschließen, den man sehr stark hört. Hier sollte das Hotel ggf über eine Renovierung der Fenster nachdenken. Dennoch würde ich jederzeit wieder in dieses Hotel gehen."
