Geräumige Haus am See wenige Minuten von Sister Bay

Das Haus liegt nördlich von Sister Bay an den Ufern der Rowleys Bay mit Blick auf den Lake Michigan. Es ist ein schönes, geräumiges Haus, aber gleichzeitig bietet es ein intimes Hüttengefühl. Das Haus ist ruhig und abgelegen, aber nur 100 Meter vom Rowleys Bay Resort und seinen vielen Annehmlichkeiten entfernt. Während der Hauptsaison gehören ein Restaurant und eine Kneipe, Omas schwedische Bäckerei, Sandvolleyball und ein Spielplatz für die Kinder zu den Annehmlichkeiten! Ein Jachthafen im Resort bietet Kajakfahren, Bootsverleih, Zip-Lining, eine Bootsanlegestelle und Stauraum. Während der Wintermonate finden Sie Loipen zum Langlaufen und einen gemütlichen Kamin zum Aufwärmen.

Das Haus bietet Platz für 2-12 Personen. Es umfasst 4 Schlafzimmer und 3 Badezimmer. 3 geräumige Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten und zwei Bäder auf der Hauptebene. Der Meister hat ein eigenes Badezimmer. 1 großes Schlafzimmer mit 4 Einzelbetten (2 Etagenbetten) und einem Vollbad im Obergeschoss über eine Wendeltreppe. 3 der Schlafzimmer bieten einen Panoramablick auf die Bucht und den Michigansee. Wir haben gerade eine Renovierung der Küche abgeschlossen, beide Badezimmer im ersten Stock und die Installation eines neuen HVAC-Systems, das den Sommer mit Central Air ausstattet!

Das Haus bietet eine gut ausgestattete, moderne Küche, Waschmaschine / Trockner, 3 Decks mit Seeblick, Holzkohlegrill, Flachbild-TV im Wohnzimmer und Master, Blu-Ray / DVD und WiFi. Wir haben auch eine Auswahl an Filmen, Büchern und Familienspielen! Dies ist unser eigenes Familien-Ferienhaus, also hoffen wir, dass Sie es genauso genießen wie wir.

Great Lake House

We loved the privacy of this house. It's tucked away in a quiet area of Door County. The home itself is really cool and worked perfectly for us. We had no issues/concerns while we were there. It's well equipped for guests. The property owner checked in with us to make sure all was good. I'd happily book this again.

Great location for a family vacation

The lake house was perfect for our family vacation (5 adults and our 1 year old granddaughter). There was everything you would need for a vacation by Lake Michigan from making meals to recreation. You can swim and kayak or paddle board right from the backyard. It's a rocky shore, but great for adults and kids. We took our granddaughter to Sand Bay Park, just a 6 minute drive, for her first sand beach experience. We made use of the gas grill, outdoor pizza oven and Blackstone grill. The Blackstone was great for making big family breakfasts! We have been visiting Door County for 46 years, staying or camping in various locations. I highly recommend Rowley's Bay. It is a quiet spot, but still close to all of the tourist attractions and restaurants.

Serenity on the lake

Beautiful property on the lake. Loved watching the sun rise over the lake every morning while having coffee on the deck. Great star gazing, too! Over the course of the week, we were a party of 7-9. The kitchen and outdoor grills were really well appointed for our family meals at home. The quality appliances and mattresses- made for a comfortable stay. We also used the family games, kayak, water toys and, of course, the hammock. Hosts were communicative and provided lots of suggestions for area activities. We had a great week!

Wonderful stay in our favorite area

We had such a great time at DiSalvo House! First off, the home and property are just beautiful. They definitely put thought into every aspect of their guest’s stay. From extra blankets, pillows, and towels, clear instructions on how to use all the fun cooking toys, quick responses to questions, and so much more, it’s instantly become my favorite vacation rental in Door County!

Beautifully appointment lakefront home well suited for large families. Our group made much use of the kitchen, pizzs oven, grills and blackstone. The wine fridge was also very nice to have. Kids enjoyed the variety of toys. Beds were comfy. Quiet road with no through traffic.

Better than Expected

This home was everything we imagined, and more. It was such a beautiful and private location. Being on the water was absolutely breathtaking. The home was so clean and provided everything you needed. There were books, board games, and hundreds of DVDs. The best bedroom was definitely the 2nd floor bunk room. It had its own bathroom! I would love to stay here again and I know my family enjoyed it as well.

Beautiful Getaway on the Lake

The DiSalvo Lakehouse is incredible. From the first moment we stepped through the door until we left the property did not stop "wowing" us. The home itself is beautiful and the host provides plenty of things to make your stay great. Various types of outdoor grills/cooking surfaces, yard games, kayaks and canoes. Everything was great and I would not hesitate to book this place again.

Rowleys Bay get-away

We really enjoyed our get-away. All six members of our party agreed that this was a top-notch property. Every room in the house was tastefully appointed and well stocked. That is also true of the outdoor amenities as well. We were provided with clear instructions and guides, and helpful hints and suggestions. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their lake home, and insure that guests have n enjoyable time.

Exceeded Our Expectations

The house exceeded our expectations. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few group meals. It was well equipped. We made pizzas one evening in the outdoor pizza oven and they turned out amazing. We rode the bikes around the neighborhood, went fishing, kayaking and played table tennis. We didn't use the kayaks since we had our own, but plan to use them and the paddle boards on our next visit. Everything at the property was top quality. The beds were comfortable and the living room with large TV allowed us to watch football games and a movie from the massive DVD collection. The lake view from the bench by the water is where we had our coffee in the morning. It was truly a wonderful experience. They really thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable. We did have some bumps in the road. We arrived the day that Rowley's Bay Resort caught fire. We weren't able to get to the property because of firetrucks and then we needed to wait for them to turn the electric back on to the property. Micah had a house lined up for us in case we couldn't get in that evening. It could have been very stressful trying to relocate 7 people, but Micah stayed on top of the situation which allowed us to enjoy an evening watching the sunset. We look forward to our next visit.

Lovely Labor Day Family Get Together

We had a wonderful 5 days at the DiSalvo Lake House over Labor Day weekend! The house was very easy to find, minutes drive to Sister Bay for groceries or Ellison Bay for a quieter vibe. Rowley's Bay provided a sheltered area for kayaking which was gorgeous. There is also a nice little county beach park about 2 miles from the house if the kids need some sand to lay in. You can also walk there on a 1 mile wooded trail behind the nearby resort. So much to do here both at the house and the area, could have stayed much longer! Micah was an outstanding host, helping by phone with the pizza oven when we were trying to light it. (The pizzas were great!) We definitely hope to return to DiSalvo Lake House in the future!

Adult Sibling Vacation Retreat at the Disalvo Lake House

My 6 siblings and I enjoyed our stay at your lake house very much! We appreciated all of the "small things" that make a difference (ample paper products, hand/dish/dishwasher soap, bathroom products, bath/kitchen towels, etc.). We would definitely choose to stay there again if we come back to Door County in the future. Two things we talked about that would enhance one's stay (for consideration)... Adding screen front and side doors to assist with the bugs coming into the lake house and a firepit. Our thanks to you for making our stay there memorable, Micah & August!

Thern Family Vacation

Our stay at the DiSalvo Lakehouse went beyond our expectations. We had a full house of 12 including 4 grandchildren. There was something for everyone. Biking, swimming, fishing, kayaking, movies, zip lining....we did it all. So wonderful to have a large kitchen and patio for cooking and grilling and the outdoor pizza oven was a hit. We are so thankful the DiSalvo family shared their family vacation home with us. We hope to go back.

Happy Birthday

Enjoyed our stay in Door County very much. Celebrated turning 70 (or so) with long time friends. Location worked awesome for playing tourist and also for quiet hiking at Newport State Park. Using the pizza oven was a learning curve, but the end result was delicious pizza! Observed eagles every day and lots of miscellaneous shore birds. Home was very well stocked, no need to run to the store. Thank you Micah for sharing your beautiful home!
