Laurel Overlook by Sliding Rock Cabins is a dog-friendly woodland cabin rental near Ellijay, Georgia, in the North Georgia mountains. Surrounded by mountain laurel and trees, this retreat offers a fenced yard, private hot tub, and inviting outdoor spaces. Two queen bedrooms and two full bathrooms accommodate four guests, with a single fold-out in the loft suitable for a fifth guest who is a child.

IMPORTANT ACCESS INFORMATION
The cabin is accessed by private mountain roads that are not county-maintained. For the smoothest arrival and to help preserve the roadway, the Road Committee recommends four-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive as the minimum recommendation. Please consider this guidance when choosing your vehicle.

The loft is an additional sleeping space, not a third enclosed bedroom. The cabin accommodates up to five guests when the fifth guest uses the child-suitable fold-out.

OUTDOOR LIVING
Enjoy morning coffee on the upstairs screened porch, share a meal on the large covered porch, or settle into the lounging area on the hot tub deck. A propane gas grill makes outdoor cooking convenient. Inside the fenced yard, the earthen fire pit offers a place to gather for marshmallows and evenings beside a crackling fire.

A small branch of Amy Creek is off the property and can be reached by walking down the road; the route is steep.

INDOORS
The living room features a wood-burning fireplace, leather furniture, and a desk with a chair. The indoor dining table seats four.

The equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, gas stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, coffee beans, and coffee grinder. Cookware, pots and pans, dishes, glassware, utensils, and cutlery are provided. Bring your food, beverages, and condiments.

DOGS ARE FAMILY HERE
Laurel Overlook welcomes up to four dogs with no pet fees, breed restrictions, or weight limits. A fenced yard gives your dogs space to enjoy the outdoors alongside you.
