Riverfront Cabin with Hot Tub, 2 Kings & No Pet Fees

Relax beside the Coosawattee River at Sweet Water Retreat, a dog-friendly riverfront cabin located in the Coosawattee River Resort near Ellijay, Georgia. With peaceful water views, direct river access and a hot tub overlooking the river, this cozy cabin is made for quiet mountain getaways with the people—and dogs—you love.

The cabin features two king bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a sleeping loft with a twin daybed, accommodating up to five guests. The main level includes a king bedroom, a full bathroom with a large walk-in shower, a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room with a TV and wood-burning fireplace. Upstairs, guests will find a second king bedroom and a full bathroom with a tub and shower.

Outside, enjoy plenty of gated deck space, a screened porch with a porch swing and a hot tub overlooking the river. A small, secure fenced convenience area gives dogs a designated place for quick outdoor breaks. Easy sandy access to the river makes it convenient to fish, relax by the water or simply listen to the river flow past the cabin.

At Sliding Rock Cabins, pets are family—not an extra charge. Every stay includes our Paws on the Porch™ experience, with complimentary dog-friendly amenities including:

Cleanup bags

There are no pet fees, breed restrictions or weight limits. Sweet Water Retreat welcomes up to four dogs. No cats, please.

Sweet Water Retreat is located inside Coosawattee River Resort. A $59 resort fee applies and is collected by Sliding Rock Cabins for submission to the resort.

Coosawattee River Resort charges a $59 gate fee for all reservations.

As of July 1, 2026. Daily guest passes may be purchased at any pool or at the CRRA recreation center for $5.00 per person, per day. Children under the age of 6 will continue to be admitted free of charge.

Coosawattee River Resort has implemented fines for certain behaviors while occupying the cabin. These fees will be charged to the guest, and guests agree to paying these fines via security deposit or authorizing a credit card charge:
- Reckless Endangerment, trash, littering; $150
-Noise complaints: $250 and above
-Discharge of Firearms & unattended fires $500
