„We took a chance to go to southern illinois because we never went to Shawnee forest. It was a lovely stay. The ybit was wonderful and set on a cliff above the Ohio river. Kitchen and bathroom were great. Great water pressure in shower. Back dwck was great to sit and relax at in the night time. Nice fire put out back. „Our family stayed at Black Ridge cabin for a week during spring break. The house is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! We got to play board games on the big dining room table and roast hotdog over the fire pit. We were close enough to visit all of the local parks and yet far enough out that we really felt like we were in nature. All of us enjoyed the buggy ride and our hosts were so kind and communicated very quickly.“
