Finde Egglestone Abbey Hotels

„Very friendly staff, excellent restaurant, nice and warm rooms. “

„Unfortunately my wife had fairly bad illness during our stay, through no fault of the hotel, but I would like to praise the staff, especially the night manager for the assistance to transfer my wife to hospital.“

„Excellent value for money. The room was spacious with an exceptionally large bathroom including a jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Breakfast was good quality even if the options were limited. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. I would be happy to stay here again.“

„A lovely cottage conveniently located within a stone’s throw of the castle and an easy walk of the Bowes Museum.“

„Very friendly and helpful staff and the room was comfortable and clean. We had dinner in the restaurant and couldn't fault the meal.“

„Great Hotel and loved the stay there. Fantastic food and a great location. Room 1 in which we stayed was however directly above the bar. It was possible to hear everything, and it was only possible to sleep once the bar closed. “

„Exceptionally pleasant and wonderful staff, Lovely big, very clean room. Food in the restaurant was very good. Would happily stay here again.“

„Helpful staff , excellent room“

„This was a very old historical building in as good of a shape as it could be. Some uneven floors and a lot of steps to get to your room. It was small and quiet charming. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A bus stop was right out the side. Very pleasant. The bed was nice, no air conditioning, but it was fairly cool when we went in August, 2026. They had a fan. We are from Florida so the low 70's was a joy for us for August.“

„Food was excellent and was in a very scenic part of North yorkshire“

„The Castle House is very conveniently located and reasonably priced. Our room was gorgeous, including a wonderful tub for a relaxing bath and a huge, comfortable, fancy bed. Breakfast was delicious and packed lunches were available for us C2C hikers. Our only small gripe was that the hosts were not available in the evening to help us with laundry, but I would still recommend staying here!“

„Good location with excellent views, unfortunately room was very basic and smelt damp. The shower was poor and the bathroom wasn’t very clean. Continental breakfast in October??? Over priced stay for basic amenities.“
