„We arrived at the hotel, the entryway smelled heavy of cigarette smoke. We checked in and entered our non smoking room to find it too smelled like cigarettes. As we set down our belongings we discovered filth from under the bed frame. Further investigation found garbage and a pile of dehydrated feces under the bed. We began cleaning up the mess but decided to photograph to show the staff. When we alerted the staff of the issues we were told the smoke smell seeped down from the second floor unit ...

„Loved our stay as the location was convenient to the Rail Trail along the river. Also an easy drive to the STL Arch and away from the hustle of the city. Anna was particularly interested in our comfort and satisfaction. Her professional and attentive manner was a delight. She genuinely seemed to care about our satisfaction and comfort. „after a seven hour drive you would expect some kind of greeting. Whatever happens before our arrival must have upset the receptionist, because it reflected the way she spoke to us. The hotel was older and hadn’t been renovated in quite some time, which we had no problem with, the problem we had was that the room was extremely dirty e.g. hair in the shower.“

This particular Holiday Inn location offers a fairly extensive breakfast in the morning. The staff in charge of the breakfast are extremely friendly and eager to assist the customers. Long story short: Bad hotel. It seems that all the Motel 6 hotels have the same pattern: Terrible.!!! The people running them have destroyed the brand for years till they are going to burry it ! We will avoid Motel 6 in our next future travels :)“

„This is the worst VRBO our family has ever stayed at. Host changed the duplex a couple of hours before our arrival. The new unit was uncleaned with some linens still wet in the washing machine. It had a room that had no light, old moldy food, cabinets without fronts, windows without coverings, a screen door ripped off, & beds that were very nasty and stained.
