„We used this beautiful home for a history trip of DC landmarks and regional Civil War Battlefields. The location was great. The drive into DC averaged about an hour and 45 minutes in the mornings due to traffic, but all the other Civil War destinations were much less and the house is large and very well maintained. The family loved sitting in the hot tub each night after a long day of walking and had the extra pleasure of a herd of deer that greeted us each night next along side the driveway ...

„The property is very nice. It's apparent a lot of upgrades have been made and more to come. Heck, there's even tissues throughout the house which you don't find many places. The only pick I have is that steps leading down to the house were barely cleared of snow/ice and very difficult and dangerous to negotiate with suitcases. I shoveled them myself the next day.“

„Stayed with a group of women for Berkeley springs spa weekend. We had a wonderful weekend, close to town and far enough away to enjoy the evening woods. The house was on a long dirt road, such a peaceful place and beautiful outdoor area with hot tub. Such a great place. “

„We had a great time. The house is quiet, but located right by multiple restaurants and attractions in Thomas. It's less than a 15 minute drive to Blackwater Falls and the Dolly Soda are about a half hour away. Great for resting, relaxing, and getting out in nature!“

„The stay was very nice. The school house was clean and well stocked. The community was quiet and close to both nearby national parks which was the reason for our visit. It was a perfect place to retire after a long day of history lessons and great food from the local taverns to a very comfortable bed! We would certainly stay there again.“

„You can really tell the house is cared for. It feels like a home. It had everything you could need. They have a well stocked kitchen and even supply snacks. The beds were very comfortable. The yard is huge with a stream behind it with a Great fire pit. I do recommend this property and will definitely go back“
