„Ciel y Miel is a beautiful boutique eco-lodge, but it’s important to know what to expect. It’s located inside a national park, so the final road is dirt and very remote. You park at the lower entrance and the staff drives you to the rooms.
Our first night was an adjustment after a long drive. The property was very quiet (we visited during the low season), and the jungle sounds took some getting used to. By morning, we realized how peaceful and beautiful it really was.

„Schönes Resort mit großen, hellen und sehr sauberen Zimmern, toller Aussicht und sehr guter Küche. Die Handtücher dufteten angenehm, die Bettwäsche war butterweich. Das Personal war in den ersten zwei Tagen sehr freundlich, später leider nicht durchgehend.
Beim Frühstück waren trotz Buchung inklusive nur zwei Getränke und eine Option enthalten, alles Weitere kostenpflichtig. Zudem waren wir mit etwa 8 Gästen die einzigen, und für mehr als zwei Tage wird es etwas langweilig, da es keine ...
„Ganz tolle Gastgeber mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Essen und leckere Coktails werden frisch in der Unterkunft zubereitet. Bootstour auf umliegende Inseln möglich. Gastgeber hierfür gerne ansprechen. Das ganze Personal ist unglaublich freundlich. Für ein paar entspannte Tage genau die richtige Umgebung.“
„Biggest initial impression was the smell of old oil and fish from the water. They need to clean up the mess in the water near the restaurant. Room was nice for the cost. No one showed up to provide breakfast this morning even though the sign said 8 am. So we went hungry. Left the room key on the door handle as no one showed up so we could check out. At dinner, they were out of every menu item I selected. 5th choice for dinner. Lucky, there was only one other menu item left.“
