This neighborhood is tucked away on a road that gives a peaceful environment to all of our guests. Very private w/ a lot of space inside and outside of the property. We are right off of US 23 so if you’re a lighter sleeper, we recommend using the second queen bedroom rather than the master. We have a sound machine available as well! Note - beach access is across the road if walking or a 5 minute drive to the nearest public parking.
Beach Access: While you can cross the road to access the beach from various entry points, due to the limited space and overcrowding, we would recommend a short 4 minute drive down to Shoreline Park. The park offers ample parking and huge beach access, pavilions and play areas for kids!
Long private driveway, 5-6 cars or large enough for 1-2 small sized boats or snowmobiles. Also, please note that this property is only about a 10 minute drive from Tawas or Oscoda and 5 minutes away from the nearest beach. During the winter months, visitors can access the Tawas Bay Multi-Use Trails along Lake Huron, part of Michigan’s Iron Belle Trail, or explore nearby historical, natural and cultural areas along the Lumbermen's Monument Auto Tour. The park is also home to the Tawas Point Lighthouse, which is the sole representative of a true Victorian-era style station on the Great Lakes.
Whether you’re here to explore fall’s vibrant colors, dive into winter’s snowy wonderland, witness spring’s blossoming beauty, or soak up summer on Lake Huron’s shores, there’s something special for every season. Take a scenic hike, visit our local spots, or simply relax—whatever you need to unwind, East Tawas has it.
