„You have everything you need in this cabin. The only negative is the huge rock wall in the backyard. I understand there were issues with water washing away the beaches, but I was assuming there would some small beach area. There is no lake access here. The quality of the cleanliness & very new carpet gives the whole place a clean & fresh appearance. Kitchen is adequate with all new appliances. But it is small, especially the frig. „Great sized house for our group of 6 and suited our needs of being close to tawas state park for the birding very well! I gave 4 stars on check in and communication because we had a hard time getting into the house and I couldn’t get ahold of anyone for some time but once we got in, was all smooth sailing!“

„The location was perfect, it was just a short walk to the nearest beach. The cottage sat back off the road far enough which gave us all the shade and privacy we wanted. The few times I messaged the host , he responded very quickly! Awesome stay, I totally recommend and plan on returning.“

„We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. „This home is decorated beautifully and stocked with everything you could possibly need. With a short walk to the beach, the hosts gave us everything from chairs to a cooler/picnic gear. „This cabin was SO CLEAN and cozy! It smelled so nice when we walked in, there wasn’t a speck of dust anywhere, the beds and couches were super comfy, and the sheets were the softest sheets I’ve ever slept on. They had everything we needed and even had shower stuff if you forgot yours. Ive already recommended this cabin to a few people and we just got home lol. I will be coming back!“

„Property was a mess. Grass over a foot tall, old leaves everywhere, old plant pots all over deck (no flowers). No outside pickup at all. Cannot fish out back, the kayaks were on the property next door. Not a good 1st impression. Went inside & it got worse. No bedding on the bigger bed. It was thrown on the bed in the other room and there was a bag of dirty towels by the front door. So it was obvious the place was not cleaned between guests. I was VERY upset. Rent places up in Tawas all the time ...

„We came up to explore the Lake Huron side of the state, and this location was perfect. Some days we went south, and some north, and everything was within 30-40 minutes. The home is very clean, and well supplied. We particularly appreciated the coffee supplies, washer and dryer and being allowed to bring our greyhounds. „Cobb Cottage was the perfect vacation for us. It offered the privacy, the sights and sounds of nature and every amenity needed to live like you would at your own home. The owner was attentive to every need and could be contacted easily, if needed. Town was a short distance away and one could probably walk there easily (if healthy) or would make a great bike ride. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing the “perfect getaway”.“
