"Mitten in Harrogate, direkt gegenüber von Bettys Tea Rooms — die Lage ist kaum zu toppen. Das viktorianische Gebäude hat echten Charakter, die Bar lädt zum Verweilen ein, und die Zimmer sind wirklich schön. Dass wir beim Check-in noch ein kostenloses Upgrade bekommen haben, hat den Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet. Sehr gerne wieder!"

"I expect more from a 4 star hotel. The room was lovely and spacious however confetti which was all over the grounds was also in our room. There are 3 lifts one is staff only, one is out of order which according to a frequent guest has been the case for 2 years!! Then they serviced the 3rd lift, leaving my 84 year old parents to negotiate very old wonky stairs, not ideal! We ate in the bar one night because i have my dog with me and the area seemed dated and unloved. The food was nice if served in a lack luster way. Again with breakfast the food was great but I can't imagine sitting in the bar to eat, the buffet is so far away my food would have been cold before I got to the table!! So we took it in turn to eat so one of us could stay with the dog. There is a small area to the left as you enter which could be used as a dog friendly area.... well away from the buffet, I see that often in other restaurants and hotels! The spa area was very pleasant and a welcome break to relax on our long journey. Also the location and grounds were lovely, sitting on the terrace in the early morning sun and quiet was also a highlight. In summary dated and unloved but a perfectly quiet and relaxing break from a long journey."

"Es handelt sich um ein sehr schönes renoviertes lokales Pub, welches auch als Hotel dient. Das Pub selber ist sehr schön klassisch eingerichtet. Das Inn ist nur ca. 6min vom Bahnhof entfernt. Der Check-in verlief sehr schnell und äußerst freundlich. Das Personal ist allgemein sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war für uns drei passend, wobei die Couch für einen Erwachsenen vielleicht eher nicht so gemütlich ist. Für unsere Kind hat es aber voll gepasst. Das Frühstück wird als klassisches englisches Frühstück in Buffetform angeboten. Es war sehr gut! Tagsüber gibt es ausgezeichnete englische Pub-Küche, wobei augenscheinlich wirklich alles frisch gekocht ist und von bester Qualität. Das Pub wird anscheinend auch sehr ausgiebig von lokalem Publikum besucht, was grundsätzlich schon für sich spricht. Und das Pub, so wie die gesamte Stadt ist sehr, sehr Hundefreundlich. Das war zwar für uns nicht wichtig, ist aber auffällig. Auch im Hotel werden Snacks usw. für Hunde angeboten. Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Schritte von den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt und ist leicht per Bahn aus York oder Leeds erreichbar. Es gibt auch Parkmöglichkeiten, falls man mit dem PKW anreist. Unsere ganze Familie war vom Knasborough Inn begeistert und wir würden es jeder Zeit wieder besuchen! "
