I would recommend bringing your own food to cook or eat before arriving, as there no near restaurants. You do share a bathroom with other guests and rooms are very basic with no TV . The place to go if you love peace and quietness.“

„Property is situated directly on the Machias River. It is a beautiful setting with outdoor seating directly out the sliding doors of your room. Direct room access from your car is a plus.“

„I was pleased with the property and hosts. The property is quiet and comfortable. The porch overlooking the river is fantastic. The problem came during and after check out. Our host said I was only registered for 1 adult 2 kids. I had reservations for 5 adults (2weee teens). Later she emailed me saying that because I was only registered for 2 she was charging my card an extra fee. Sure enough when I checked my card was charged again. I didn’t mind paying for the extra.
