„We managed to be lucky enough to book this cabin just as all of the leaves turned so it was like being in a painting. The land is beautiful to walk and the views are amazing. The cabin itself is very cozy and has great character. The kitchen was very convenient and I loved cooking on that stove, and the bathroom was clean and well kept as well. It was great to unplug, read, and relax for a while. Hopefully we will be able to go back again.“

„We loved this property: On the trails, close to the village, the open floor plan allowed us to all interact, the huge deck was great for hanging out! We loved the fire pit and the entire laid back "Cabin"! This is a perfect place to stay if your a rowdy, beer drinking group of MTB'ers! We have stayed in over 10 properties in East Burke every September and this was one of our favorites!!!!“

„This cabin has great potential, but there needs to be full disclosure and clarity about its water issues. It was charming and clean, but we were so disappointed that both the gas grill and gas fireplace on the deck were unusable. There was only one empty propane tank under the grill and nothing in the fireplace. There is a wood burning/coal fire pit that we supplied our own wood for. The host did not respond to my inquiry about whether there was an additional propane tank someplace on site. ...

„Our adult family stayed at this home in Jefferson for a fall weekend. The accommodations were great, nice and spacious, had everything we needed. The property is beautiful. We would have liked to have more time to enjoy the deck and fire pit. Perfect location for events at Belevieu Barn. No communication issues or problems with the host or property.“

„If you're looking for a complete change of scenery from a dense city to a calm Forest but still maintain comforts of your home, you have come to the right place. We had an amazing time at the majestic place - in it's truest sense. Cons- it needed deep cleaning as the were bugs and wasps in sun room and balconies, and dust inside the house on floor and some furniture. Quite some confusion on Cleaning fee... Make sure that is sorted.“

„Donna and Joe were exceptional hosts. The cottage was very clean and included all of the necessary amenities. The property was beautiful and very spacious allowing our boys to have adequate room to play in the yard and for us to enjoy an evening campfire. The hosts went out of their way to set up the swimming area for my boys. We could have not stayed at a better Vrbo rental!!!! We will most certainly be back!“

„The property was ideal for our stay in the North East Kingdom. It is a very clean, comfortable, well equipped, newly renovated, nicely furnished cottage. The beds are comfortable. It is very close to Crystal Lake - about a mile away - which has a sandy beach, boats for rent and is very scenic. We came to the North East Kingdom to hike and we hiked Pisgah, Wheeler and Hor Mountains and also did a very pleasant hike in Perry Holbrook State Park. "Der Manager vor Ort war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war genau so wie auf den Bildern, aber ich fand einige Ecken etwas unschön. Spinnweben in den Ecken, ein Lüfter lag rum, dazu muss ich aber auch sagen, das wir nur ein paar Stunden vor Eintreffen reserviert/gebucht hatten - trotzdem hätte ich mir ein wenig mehr Gründlichkeit gewünscht. Das Bad war okay sauber, aber an einigen Stellen etwas zusammen gebastelt, Isolierband am Duschvorhang o.ä. Frühstück war gut, Bagels, Kaffee und Snacks ausreichend, um nicht noch irgendwo extra frühstücken zu gehen. Das Internet war schrecklich langsam und quasi unbrauchbar, was nervig war, da es keinen Empfang vor Ort gab und wir somit morgens erstmal losfahren mussten, bis wir Empfang hatten, um die weitere Route zu planen. Alles in allem kann ich es aber weiter empfehlen. "
