„Our review of the property at Sun Filled Lake House Living property from July 10 to July 18, 2026.Overall, we had a wonderful time. The property looked exactly like the pictures, and we absolutely loved the character of the old-style cottage. The setting nestled in the woods was beautiful, and having two outdoor sitting areas was a great feature. We particularly enjoyed spending our mornings having coffee on the front patio, which quickly became our favorite spot. We also spent a great day at ...

„We stayed at "The Hanger" while visiting my mother for her 90th birthday. We were a rather large group, me, my three daughters, my oldest daughter's husband, my middle daughter's boyfriend and my two grandsons. The communication with the owner and the check in experience were both awesome. My grandkids (4 & 5) loved the aviation themed toys as well as the park next door. All in all it was a terrific stay. I even felt like the owner would've given us recommendations on what to do in the area, ...

„The property was absolutely beautiful and the accommodations were great! Marcie was so helpful and so very responsive to all of our questions. If you're in this area and aren't staying here, you're missing out! The next time we are in the area, we'll be certain to stay here again. 10 out of 10 stars!!“

„Great place, clean and comfortable with great communication and special touches by the host.“

„We do not drop poor reviews lightly. We rented a two unit house for 5 nights for 3,000. Out confirmation said we would have the place to ourselves. Instead, we had noisy construction crews on site, without any warning. When we complained and specifically asked that no one be on site for the remainder of our stay, the host agreed. That is not what happened. The crews showed up daily, sawing through brick and mortar in what appeared to be an addition. This all happened right outside our door, ...

„Fantastic host. Went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. Beautiful historic home that felt very welcoming and cozy even though it is so big!“

„Our host was remarkably responsive and helpful. We had a lot of room with three full bedrooms with queen size beds, and a cleverly laid out kitchen and cozy living room. We were so glad to have two parking places, full kitchen, and the ability to walk to Wesleyan University.“

„Great place! “

„We loved the place, which feels like your own house in the woods. The setting is gorgeous especially with the leaves changing colors. We specifically chose the location so we could bike the Farmington Trail loop which starts at the bottom of the hill. The house is so well stocked with everything you could think of, especially coffee and there is plenty of space to relax inside and out. The host was very attentive to our needs. It couldn’t have been better for us.“
