Our family of 4 spent a week at the Yellow House. Communication with the host via the VRBO app was easy and timely. Check-in and check-out were simple and straight forward. Everything mentioned in the listing was accurate and the wifi was blazing fast for those that needed to do a little work. The pool was well kept and we used it more than I thought we would. The location was perfect for us as we were not interested in the crowds of 7 Mile Beach, but you need a rental car if you stay here. The little beach across the street is nice to sit and enjoy the view, but not that great to settle in for a day at the beach. For that you need to drive to other public beaches or Rum Point. We drove to George Town several times for dinners and a boat charter - it is a pleasant 30-45 minute drive and it is easier than expected to get used to driving on the left side of the road. BUT - there are many hidden gems nearby to try for lunch and dinner (get the burger at the Czech Inn Grill). The guide provided by the host was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this rental for a party of 4 looking for a laid-back vacation. We are not divers, but we did eat at Eagle Rays. It is close and geared toward divers - with boats departing from that location. The only room for improvement would be updating the linens, pillows, and mattresses; however, this did not affect my rating. I imagine sourcing such items isn't easy on an island. The house is clean and a great value.
