„The cottage was clean, cosy and perfect for a short break with my daughters. There are fantastic views across the Firth and different sunsets every night. The host Duncan communicated throughout the booking process and gave us information about the local area. There is. Pub in the village which serves good bar Marla’s and a restaurant called The Oyster Catcher. which serves a bespoke tasting menu“

„The house is absolutely wonderful is in a great location and is well appointed. Has everything you need for light cooking. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed as well. The house is on the beach with a wonderful two-level grass yard for kids to play. It is fenced so offers privacy and safety. „Had no problems with check in process, we arrived in the middle of a storm so informed them and they gave us social media page to keep an eye on which was helpful. Kitchen facilities were good and had all that was needed for cooking. No problems with wifi during our stay and was good access to local town and also to main roads to get to other areas north / south. Bed was really comfortable also. Overall we had a great stay. “

We got instructions a few days in advance that were very clear so finding and accessing the cottage was easy. There is a fabulous pub just down the street for a great meal. Just make reservations. „Ok the property was very attractive .. in perfect location, beautiful garden setting, attractive and smart kitchen, traditional furnishings, and yes the Anta rugs and nice bedding etc. well done. However we found the lounges a bit on the formal side for relaxation, and would benefit from better lighting for reading. Upstairs was cramped and we have a few bumps on the head from altercations with the low roof. All very steeped in character, but definitely not a relaxing break for us I’m afraid… ...
