„Everything we wanted! Huge yard, spacious tiddy cottage, surrounded by nature and quiet! Great central location for exploring all the Keweenaw has to offer. We appreciate Riverside Cottage more and more, everytime we visit. (I love that you can hear the river right through your open windows at night.) Make time to walk down to the river and explore a bit. It is goregous! Reasonable rates and great host.“

„Such a nice little cabin. We weren't able to enjoy the sauna because of our short stay but it looked really cool. We did really make use of the wood stove inside the cabin. We was very grateful for that. The fact that we could take my mom's dog was wonderful! The owners provided everything you'd need to be comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the bonfire pit and the awesome wood supply even though we didn't use it. We'd love to come back some day. It was a great experience!“

„We really enjoyed the fact it was so quiet. It may be the time of year, but we are already tentatively planning a spring visit to family and this is top of the list! Also, the fact they even have a couple blankets to the side for pets who sleep on the bed was a nice touch.“

„This is the second year we stayed here and it was just as amazing as last year. It was very clean! The communication with the property owners is great. They respond and answer questions in a very timely manner. It’s just such a cool property with the observatory building and the fire pit overlooking the lake. It’s very nice to have a rental that we can bring our dog. The neighbors loved him. And he loved the beach. And we saw the northern lights! “

„This cottage is very comfortable in a safe, calm and peaceful setting. It had everything we needed and we were even able to borrow dog beds to make sure our dogs didn't get cozy on furniture! It is a perfect location to explore Copper country. We did several hikes in the area including Mt. Baldy, Black Creek, Eagle Harbor trails, Horseshoe Harbor, and the trail in the town of Central. After hiking in the rain one day, we fired up the common sauna for some extra relaxation.“

„This cottage was everything as advertised. When driving up to the property my husband commented “Wow, this is it!” after staying in a few other areas that were not as quiet and private.
