Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. „Wir waren als Familie zwei Nächte hier und waren vom freundlichen Personal sehr angetan. Die Lage bietet traumhafte Ausblicke über die Berge. Die Preise für Essen und Getränke sind äußerst fair und die Qualität hervorragend. Ausnahmslos alle des Personals sind sehr freundlich und kinderlieb. Selbst die Baustelle, weil die Anlage um ein paar Häuschen erweitert wird, stört überhaupt nicht. Unsere Weiterfahrt, sowie einen Ausflug haben wir vom Resort organisieren lassen .“

„La Pentera is a unique property and it is conveniently located around 30 minutes drive to the entrance of the Udawalawe National Park. Our host is very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond our expectations and making sure we have the best time in the property. The evening walk around the lake area is awesome, and the hammocks, swings and mini rock climb is nice too. We had our best Sri Lankan cuisine in this resort, the chicken curry is full of flavours and spices. Definitely recommend ...

Der findes wanna-be 5-stjernede, og så er der steder som Thotalagala, hvor 5 stjerner ikke rækker, fordi det at give gæsterne den bedste oplevelse (altid), er inkorporeret i dna’et hos medarbejdere, i ledelsen og i ydelserne der tilbydes. Det er de mange små ting som varmedunk i sengen, aften-te på værelset, vedligeholdelsesstanden overalt samt at alt kan lade sig gøre, der viser, at dette er et ægte luksus-hotel.“

„Stayed for 4 nights on the off chance we would have to curfew following the election date but glad we had the extra time here. The hotel has been closed for renovation but has recent opened 1.5 months and I could not fault it! The rooms are beautifully designed, lots of space, beautiful Mountain View’s (we had one of the sunrise view rooms but I understand they also have sunset views too) and all amenities included. Decor around the accommodation itself are also beautiful. Very well designed ...

„Fantastic quiet spot to enjoy Koslanda area. Highly recommended if you're looking to unwind and enjoy the grounds. Staff, service, food, room, pool all great, only downside is drive time to wider activities (Ella/Lipton's Seat) make for long day trips.“
