We had only one night and found a very nice little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and an excelent breakfast. As we left we got a good tip to spend the day until we had to leave by ferry to Amsterdam: the market at Tynemouth Station! Only limited parking next to the hotel but nearby parking lot and roadside parking.
