Jemma’s Hideaway in Amish Country

Come spend a wonderful time away in our cozy hideaway. Located only a mile from Historical Winesburg on Route 62 where they have the best pizza at Winesburg Pizza. Beacon Cafe has wonderful breakfasts and coffee drinks! We are only 5 miles to all the shops in Berlin and Walnut Creek. Our area has lots of restaurants, Coffee shops, Antique Malls, Walnut Creek Flea Market , and lots of Stores to explore!
We have self check in with a smart lock. Concrete driveway and patio with parking only a few steps to the door! Watch the horses being trained while you sip your coffee on the patio.
The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals. We have a coffee maker and Keurig. We have a large step in shower and washer and dryer. Relax on the reclining couch and read or watch from our 55” TV.
We have central air.
Make yourself at home and relax and enjoy our beautiful spot in Amish country.

Jemma’s Hideaway is truly the perfect place to stay while visiting Ohio Amish country. This was our second time renting from our host Julie. The accommodations were great with everything you need for your stay. The unit is meticulous and cozy. The king size bed is so comfortable as well. The kitchen has everything you need for your meals and the bathroom is pristine and so well equipped with big fluffy towels. This was another wonderful trip and we will definitely return here next time we travel to Amish country.

A beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy and relax. Close to all the surrounding attractions. The hosts are superb and extremely kind and welcoming. They anticipate any need you may have. The accommodations are spotless and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend staying here.

Jemma's Hideaway was the perfect place for us. We were welcomed with a sign, bottle of sparkling juice (thank you because we do not drink alcohol), and chocolates. It is away from crowds, but just a short drive to Route 39. Anything you needed was provided and the communication was superb. The minimalist decorations and cleanliness made it feel like home to us. I would never have believed I was in a basement. The couch was so comfortable that we bought a similar one from a furniture store in the area. We are hoping to stay at Jemma's the next time we visit the area.

The place was spotless, comfy and relaxing. We celebrated 43 of marriage and were given sparkling juice and a box of chocolate! So thoughtful. Bed was comfortable, all the necessary coffee making supplies were there. Our second time staying here, and will return.

This was the perfect place for a weekend away with my husband. We had everything we needed and then some! We searched for somewhere with recliners and good lighting so that we could have some time to read. Jemma's Hideaway exceeded our expectations. All of the lights are bright, but they are also on dimmers. The bedroom does not have a window, so if you like to sleep in late the sun won't wake you up. Everything is spotless and it is only 10 minutes from our favorite shops in Mount Hope. The kitchen had everything we needed. We hope to return sometime. I highly recommend this vacation rental!

When we first walked in we were suprised to find a personalized welcome message and gifts (local chocolates and grape juice). The place did not disappoint. It was very clean and spacious. Even though we knew it was a basement apartment, it never felt like we were in a basement. We had no issues at all and will definitely be back!

Jemma's Hideaway offers a great placet to stay while visiting Amish Country. This was our 2nd time staying here. Whether you prefer to bring food to cook for yourself or bring in what this area offers the kitchen is well supplied. The rest is very comfortable. From the moment you enter the driveway to when you open the door everything is neat, clean and comfy. The home and apartment are on a main route close by Amish attractions and towns. You hear no road noise from this VRBO. The kitchen and bathroom were nicely stocked with what you need (all you need to bring is your food for meals). We appreciated the coffee station with choice of Keurig or small regular pot for more the morning and tea for evening. We only communicated during our brief stay via text with owner when she asked if we needed anything. The chocolates and sparkling juice and welcome board was a nice thoughtful touch. We even got to take a little cactus plant home too. Everything is spelled out for you when you arrive and even light switches are labeled (often time at other places it is trial and error). Furniture and bed are very comfortable. And walk in closet was perfect. We didn't need to use the laundry facilities in apartment but they were just as tidy and clean as the rest of the place. We would stay here in the future and did appreciate the opportunity this time. Don't hesitate on staying at this VRBO. It's perfect for two!

The place was clean and cozy and the host makes you feel welcome. I even forgot something and she shipped it to me. If you’re looking to get away in Amish country. This is the place to stay..
