Good morning, we have been going to Raffles, The Palm for several years but unfortunately this year several things have changed.
- beach service not taken care of, often no one came to accompany you to the deckchair and give you a towel and we almost always had to ask for water.
- Water was only given two cans per day per person, the other years there was no quantity. If you wanted it you had to pay for it.
- The room was often not made until late afternoon, once it was not made and in the evening at 18.00 pm we had to ask to make it.
- We arrived at 7 in the morning having informed several times to receive the room if possible, it was not provided to us, understandable. Only at 10.40 pm did the news arrive that we could take possession of the room. Ok, it can be understood, but we were not offered upon our arrival either a glass of water after a 10 hour flight, or a welcome cocktail or temporary accommodation. We had to take our swimsuits in our suitcases in a storage room, change and go to the pool to rest on the deckchairs. This is not a service from a 5 star Raffles hotel.
- There were almost never free places at the pool.
The Club Sola where we spent nice evenings with good music and drinks, was closed and we were not informed.
The list could go on, we were not satisfied unfortunately.
The services have decreased and the cost of the stay has increased.
No we are not there.
