The hotel has a nice reception area and a convenient location, and the room itself was spacious with a comfortable bed. However, the bathroom clearly needs refurbishment and felt quite worn down.
While breakfast offered a good variety of food, it was disappointing that only coffee from a thermos was available—no espresso or freshly prepared coffee, which is not what one would expect from a five-star property.
During my stay, the hotel hosted a very loud group of students, which significantly affected the atmosphere and made it feel closer to a youth hostel than a premium hotel. The gym and spa were adequate but not modern or state of the art. The pool area was fine, though quite noisy due to its proximity to a large street.
Overall, the hotel does not deliver a true five-star experience, particularly in terms of amenities and service orientation—with the notable exception of Rachel at breakfast, who stood out positively.
