Nice Properties with almost missing Host.
We stayed at this property with our extended family while attending a nearby wedding. While the home itself has potential, our experience was unfortunately not as expected.The listing indicated accommodations for 18 guests, but in reality, there were beds for only about 10, and only three of the five bedrooms were made available. Despite multiple attempts to contact the host during our stay, we received no response. We had to arrange additional bedding ourselves to accommodate everyone.The property’s cleanliness was another concern. Although it appeared superficially cleaned, there was garbage left in several bathrooms, and the outdoor areas were covered in sand and debris. With no response from the host, we ended up hiring local help to clean the outside areas ourselves.The check-in process was also problematic. The key box was empty upon arrival, and the host directed us to enter through a broken side door that could not be locked. When we expressed concerns about security, we were advised to simply lock the bedroom doors. While the neighborhood itself felt safe, the unsecured entrance made us uncomfortable.Lastly, the listing’s photos and description were misleading. The pool shown was not filled and was in poor, unusable condition.Overall, although the property itself could be a nice option with better management, the lack of communication, misleading listing details, and cleanliness issues significantly impacted our stay.
