„Very nicely located house. In 2018, we booked this house the first time and that’s why we chose it again. The owner made a lot of investments and it eas even better this time. Great view on Lake Huron and on sunrise in the morning.“

„My family had a great time during our stay. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and boat and fishing off the dock. The one rainy day everyone enjoyed watching movies on the Roku. The extra room in the cabin was so helpful. It’s hard to find a place for 13 people. The owners were super responsive to a clogged drain and bedframe issue. We would stay again if we are back in the area. “

Everything was made easy, from throwing our kayaks in outside to cooking meals there with plenty of kitchen supplies. We enjoyed hiking, and Esther's Restaurant had great tacos. Our exotic birds were welcome and we enjoyed nature right outside our door. So peaceful and quiet! “

Our relatives from Missouri ended up coming along with us and my wife took them to Mackinac Island and we all went to Sault St. Marie on the last day and did a cruise through the locks. „Every window offers great views, and the deck is perfect for lounging or grilling. The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with a fantastic kitchen, located on a quiet street in a charming village. My only suggestion is to add some summertime views from the house, because a July sunrise is phenomenal. Enjoyed the house and our time in Detour. “

„We were drawn to this log cabin in the woods on Whitney Bay! The rustic charm was amazing with a cozy atmosphere ...... very tranquil. The water was so beautiful. Everything was very clean, neat and organized. The surrounding wooded property was a haven for deer and fox during our stay. We had zero issues with checking in and out. Drummond Island is a gem. We would love to come back for another visit!“
