„What is not to like about this property? It's cosy, clean and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and easy to contact but respected our privacy. Complimentary breakfast items and wine were provided along with fire wood and cooking staples. The bed was super comfortable. This place is in such a beautiful setting with an idyllic view over the valley. We sat for hours on the deck listening to the sounds of nature around us, watching the sun come up ...

„We absolutely loved the property, the animals were a beautiful sight to wake to amidst the picturesque fields. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchenette also was well equipped. Eddie put the heaters on for us prior to our arrival so the home was very warm. We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed the surrounding areas. Thanks for your hospitality Eddy.“

„We just wanted a little place all to ourselves that felt warm and homely and this place did that for us. The log fire keeps the cottage toasty warm and the autumn leaves all around us was beautiful. The steps up can be slippery in the wet but that was to be expected with where the cottages were and with all the trees surrounding them. “

„Such a beautiful property with everything you need and walking distance from everything. Such wonderful relaxing views and the walk around the lake was such a treat. The owner was so supportive and answered all questions I needed promptly. I really have nothing to fault at all. If I return to Daylesford in the future, I know where I will be staying. You will not be disappointed. The photos don't match the complete beauty and tranquility of this property.“

„We stayed at this wonderfully equipped property including another family with children under 3. Communication, location (quite central, 2min drive to town) and this had everything you could think of. 4 single beds upstairs with DVD player, TV toys and books for small children. The list goes on. We loved our stay and its a credit to the owners. I will be looking to rebook in the winter too. Property was pleasantly clean throughout“

„We had an amazing time, thank you Jeanna :) The place is clean and has everything you could want, including a recently renovated en suite. The location is perfect for a regional getaway. We stayed for four nights and used the house as a base to explore Daylesford, Hephburn Springs, Ballarat, Bendigo and a few nearby wineries and hiking locations. Jeanna was a great host. She gave us lots of information before we got there so checking in and out and exploring the area was super easy.“

„My husband and I had a great time at The Shack. Alison was prompt and communicative in the lead up to the stay and we found the property exactly as advertised. We really appreciated the breakfast and snack options, and also our interactions with the resident golden retriever, Daisy! "Surprisingly clean and spacious, recently renovated room in the centre of Daylesford. Only thing is that on that day they did not serve food until 9pm as described on website due to staff Xmas party. The surroundings do not give lots of choices 7pm in the evening. "
