The staffing appeared to consist of only three men—two handled check-in/check-out, and the third seemed to manage maintenance or housekeeping. Most of the time, all three were sitting on the patio couch outside the guest entrance, chatting and laughing. That alone wouldn’t have bothered me, but it was frustrating considering the overall state of the property.
The pool was a major disappointment—cloudy, dirty, and clearly neglected. I never once heard a pump running or saw anyone attempt to clean it, and unsurprisingly, no guests used it. This is a shame because the pool and its surrounding area have potential if properly maintained.
The room’s air conditioning didn’t work, making the stay uncomfortable, and the amenities listed on the website were not delivered as expected. The breakfast was underwhelming—just cereal, bagels, oatmeal packets, and coffee. Also worth noting: none of the rooms have microwaves. There’s only one for guest use, and it’s oddly located in the pool area near the lobby entrance—right by where the staff hang out.
Lastly, there’s a $100 deposit that is not mentioned anywhere on their site or booking platforms. For a 3-star hotel (being generous), that’s excessive—especially considering even many 5-star hotels charge much less. Overall, a disappointing experience with a lot of missed potential.
