„We were allocated the Shropshire suite, which is plain with no designer features, but has an en-suite, and is accessed from outside. It's a 300 year old inn, so if you expect a BnB type experience rather than a hotel, you won't be disappointed. The breakfast was really good. The skylight needs a blind as the early morning light wakes you up at dawn. The fan in the en-suite also didn't work, perhaps explaining the black mould in the shower tiling. „Versehentlich wurde das Zimmer noch einmal von der Kreditkarte belastet. Nachdem ich selbst noch einmal nachgesehen hatte, ob das Zimmer nicht bereits bezahlt war, und darauf aufmerksam machte, wurde mir der Betrag wieder gut geschrieben. So etwas sollte ein Hotel beim Check-In doch eigentlich wissen! Gut, dass ich meine Kreditkartendaten von einem Dreiviertel Jahr vorher als Beweis abfotografiert hatte! Also aufpassen! „The staff are friendly and helpful. The building is rather old but full of character and with a lovely decor. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the station, very convenient. One thing to be aware of is that they don't start serving breakfast until 8.30am – something to keep in mind if you're planning an early start. “
