„After many years of attending this well appointed hotel finally i got an upgrade. The hotel is well situated for walks along Shakespeare's smug Trent. The Burton Bridge Brewery is over the road. Town centre a short walk. Parking more than adequate. I think if you can put up with the road noise of a weekend its one of the best hotels in town. „Room was clean and basic with good shower in the bathroom. Relatively small room with dated decor and could do with a refresh. functional and adequate if you just need a bed for the night. Adjoining pub is nice inside with outside terrace and local beer brewed onsight. Quick taxi or 15 minute walk from the centre of Ashby De La Zouch. Really nice engaging staff“

„Nettes englisches Hotel. Kleiner Nachteil waren die beigen Teppiche, die doch schon sehr fleckig waren und das Loch in der Badezimmertür. Ansonsten sehr leckeres Frühstück und hervorragende Betreuung. Die Lage ist super, direkt neben der Busstation in Castle Donigton und eine Straße weiter ist ein kleiner Supermarkt und die Post.“
