The view is simply phenomenal overlooking volcano Masaya which had a minor eruption on Dec 22, 2024. The hotel also overlooks lake Masaya, an old volcano crater. „So, this place is quite OK in terms of facilities - quite a new hotel, well decorated. However, I have never felt more unwelcome to a hotel than at the Hyatt Place in Managua. Had several small issues: no proper check in, long waiting for service, false charges on my credit card (I guess staff is still in training), but never had a friendly encounter throughout my stay of 3 days.
