„Front door entrance we were greeted with giant spiders and webs! Can't see out windows because screens are ripped and full of cobwebs. Front door needs major oil as it squeaks loud. Interior doors don't stay open had to prop them open. Fans and all lights need major dusting! Firepit chairs were so dirty we didn't use them luckily we brought our own. „gorgeous place up in the woods. you wont see a neighbor or traffic. nice little brook out back with an excellent sound. Front porch rockin' chairs were a favorite. Franklin WV is 4 miles away with a few restaurants and groceries if you care. Kitchen was great and had all the necessary things. turn off all the lights and step outside at night and it is pitch black except for the stars. WIFI was very handy and TV had Samsung streaming apps.“

„From the moment we arrived the cabin was warm, welcoming, and made you feel at home. Beautiful and peaceful setting. Space to relax and enjoy both indoors and outside. Didn’t get to hike as much as we hoped due to rainy weather but still managed to get out and explore nearby attractions. Host was easy to work with and ensured our visit was a good experience. „We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). Super quiet at night with nothing but the beautiful sound of the river just a stone’s throw away. The windowed porch at the entrance was very convenient as well. And whatever you needed that you didn’t have, the town of Elkins was just up the road less than 15 minutes away while still giving you the enjoyment of a remote river canyon. Can’t say enough ...
