„Very nicely renovated and clean hotel. Unfortunately low water pressure. The on-site restaurant is closed, it would be an enormous add-on to the hotel. “

„Nice place in a rural surrounding. Beds are quite small but comfy. They have coffee most of the day in the lobby, but there is no breakfast. The house would need some paint. The staff is vere friendly and helpful. Nearby is a shop with a Subway and 2 restaurants in walking distance. “

„I loved the fact where if u wanted say a store. U was driving for a far distance. Very thick wooded area u can go for walks n quite a bit rails of trails kind of parking area “

„We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. We had to place a folder to block the view! 3. It was very hot in the room! Good for this winter weather if course, but was hard to ...

„House was clean and comfortable. E-biking the Blackwater Canyon Trail to Hendricks and back was wonderful, the trail is feet from the house. Nearby Douglas Falls is great. Blackwater Falls State Park is just a few miles away. So many other outdoor activities nearby. We picked this destination because my wife began researching her genealogy a few years ago and found that her mother’s family was deeply embedded in the history of Tucker County.
