Edmonton's City Hall is the home of the municipal government of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Designed by Dub Architects, the building was completed in 1992. It was built to replace the former city hall after it had become outdated and expensive to operate. The building features two steel and glass pyramids, one 43 metres high (ground to peak), on top of a three-storey concrete structure. One pyramid provides natural light for the main atrium, the other for the council chambers. The building also features a 200-foot clock Friendship Tower topped with a set of 23-carillon bells. Located on the eastern edge of the financial district in Edmonton's downtown, the building is the main feature on Sir Winston Churchill Square. In the winter, the fountain is converted to a skating rink.

„We (parents 1 teen) stayed for two nights in early November. The house is in a quiet residential area with quick commute to shopping. Easy to follow directions on how to enter the home/garage were sent a couple days before. We found the home spacious, clean and well stocked for meal preparation (utensils, pots/pans, cutting boards, etc). „It had everything I needed. But an outside motion light for arriving after dark would be really benefical. Its hard to navigate in the gate and down the stairs in the dark. Some stepping stones across the grass to the gate would be a good addition as well. It would make it more obvious where to enter. The gate latch could use some attention. Storing your cleaning equip somewhere else would also be nice. Otherwise all seemed good.“

"Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Ich war nun zum zweiten Mal vom gesamten Hotel begeistert (November/ Dezember 2023 zum ersten Mal). Ein toller Pool, schöner Whirpool und kleines aber gutes Gym in der 27 Etage, mit einem schönen Blick auf die Stadt runter. In unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hotel gibt es alles was man braucht. Ich werde wieder kommen! Da ich großer Eishockey Fan bin und das Rogers Place in 4-5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Auch das Chop Steakhaus in der Lobby vom Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert! "

"It was difficult to find a parking space as all the spaces in front of the hotel were taken (apparently you are allowed to stop to unload, just behind the hotel). The actual parking lot is then in Varscona Parkade (Lot #327) where, according to reviews, cars are regularly broken into. I had no problems there and am also satisfied with the rest. Breakfast is really good but having to sign for it every time is annoying. Great room service."
