„The old house was charming. It could benefit from a really good, deep clean. The bathrooms and beds/linens were very clean and the kitchen was functional. We didn't use the outdoor area but it was nice and well suited to a comfortable place to hang out on a nice day. The town has food and necessity shopping available and easily accessible. Overall we were pleased with our overnight stay. “

„The Greer House is Cozy, Clean and Adorable. The home has cute local touches such as Dexter-opoly which the family had lots of fun playing.. this home is located in Downtown Dexter which was convenient for grabbing a quick bite to eat, Across the street is a family dollar and a florist who did an amazing job on my sisters graduation bouquet. Over all very satisfied with my stay at the Greer House and would highly recommend for anyone visiting Dexter“

„The property was secluded enough to be private. We loved the deck that overlooked the small lake. Very clean, all the necessary kitchen equipment and comfortable beds and baths, and living room area. Myself and two friends were there to birdwatch for several days in the area (Mingo Wildlife Refuge and Otter Slough State Conservation Area).“

„While we were in the middle of nowhere, it was still great. We kind of expect middle of no where when we visit family in Wappapello! The house was absolutely adorable and they had everything there for us! We booked it for Christmas, and the day after it was booked the owner called to ask if we wanted a Christmas tree and decorations. I was stunned and absolutely thrilled. We definitely weren’t expecting to have decorations but it was wonderful! We definitely want to go back on our next visit!“

„We loved it here!!! There is a very nice swimming beach with a giant lake and boat ramp in walking distance; we went swimming and watched the eclipse!!! Absolutely phenomenal view at the lake, and the kitchen was very, very convenient if you want to save money and not eat out for every meal. The owner responds to texts instantly, too!“

„We traveled to Advance for a long weekend to view the total solar eclipse. Host provided excellent instructions for arrival. Every room was as described. Nice decor - including vintage duck decoys.
