Welcome to SeaBlue Cottage , where your dreams of the classic beach vacation come true! As a long-time host, mom & grandmother(Mema), I know what’s important to your family when you travel because I want the same for mine. SeaBlue Cottage- 4 bedrooms & 3 baths, open plan living, chef kitchen, and magnificent outdoor dining area with pool,outdoor shower & hot tub offer a refined yet cozy home base between beach adventures and Destin’s dining, shopping & activities!

All new 175k remodel for 2025 all new pool deck, hot tub, outdoor shower, lovely new outdoor dining area, and more area for games and sunbathing!! (Pictures coming soon ) The white sandy beach is just 50 yards (less than a block away for your enjoyment. Only beach pool access has golf cart parking designated for carts.

When you arrive at SeaBlue Cottage you ’ll know you’re someplace special. Lush, manicured landscaping surrounds the spacious corner lot, and the bright white home is trimmed with a cheerful SeaBlue sky. A friendly front porch has plenty of spots to sit and watch the world go by. Once inside, you’ll find a wide-open living space that’s ideal for conversation and socializing. A comfy sectional sofa faces a large flatscreen television and is perfect for catching the game or hosting a family movie night with a huge bowl of popcorn. Nearby, the farmhouse-style dining table has seating for ten.

In the kitchen, crisp white cabinets, glossy quartz countertops, and gleaming stainless steel appliances create a chic and efficient space for the family chef. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to flip fresh blueberry pancakes, pack snacks for the beach, mix a batch of frosty happy hour cocktails, or prepare a full dinner for your crew. From ice makers to crock pots to coffee makers— it’s all here. An ample island with bar seating will be the casual spot where everyone lingers over their morning coffee and muffins while you plan your beach day.

On the second floor, the master suite is a private sanctuary away from it all. The king-size bed is wrapped in pristine white linens and sits in a luxe, upholstered frame. Vaulted ceilings and recessed lighting add height and a feeling of spaciousness. There’s also a 68-inch Smart TV, a coffee bar, a small seating area, and a glass door that leads out to a private, sun-kissed balcony. In the spa-like master bathroom, there’s a double vanity and a glass-enclosed step-in shower that’s ideal for rinsing off after a day at the beach or pool.

Another bedroom on this floor— dubbed the Turtle Room— is like a bonus master suite, complete with a king-size bed, flatscreen television, and a full ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The third bedroom on this floor has a queen-size bed and a 68-inch HDTV. There’s also another full bathroom that can be accessed from the hallway.

Back on the ground floor, 2 sets of bunk beds / playroom available for the kids and a 3rd full bathroom make our beach home perfect for groups with children. On the ground floor, the foyer hallway opens out to the open kitchen, living, and dining spaces. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, well stocked for cooking, or we can arrange a visit from a wonderful private chef we met a few years ago – treat your group to family favorites, a seafood feast, or something new! A large dining table seats up to 10, with breakfast bar for 4 (our grandkids’ favorite place to eat!). The living room has a large L-shaped couch that converts to a sofa bed, large SmartTV with tons of streaming options, beautiful light & beachy decor, as well as doors to the deck, the backyard, the pool and the hot tub!

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better— head outside to your private backyard paradise. When you’re not at the beach, chances are you’ll spend most of your time lounging and relaxing out here. Your family will love to spend time here, soaking up the Florida sunshine or kicking back in the shade with a cool drink. The crystal blue swimming pool and a bubbly hot tub create a feeling of total vacation nirvana. There’s also a barbeque and an outdoor dining table for alfresco meals under the stars. The all new outdoor shower is the perfect spot to rinse off sandy toes. 

When you’re ready to go exploring, the location of the Seablue of Destin is tough to beat. You can use the golf cart to take a spin around the neighborhood or slip on your flip-flops and take a leisurely stroll. Make sure to check out all the delicious dining and fun shopping at nearby Destin Commons. When you want to get sandy, the Crystal Beach access point is right down the lane. And don’t miss out on the delicious smoothies and breakfast items at Camilla’s— so yummy!

Totally remodeled over 165k - May 2025, our 4BD/3BA house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, including a huge King Master Suite with a private balcony and coffee bar. King & Queen bedrooms share a 2nd bathroom to complete the upstairs; the bathrooms are a dream! High-quality bedding and linens, all completely sanitized between guests, make for relaxing sleep so you wake ready for fun. All bedrooms have TV with streaming options.

Outside, we have several outdoor dining vignettes as well as comfortable lounge furniture – we’ve found that teenagers especially like to have their own area, but you can still enjoy the outdoors together. The pool reflects the beautiful blue early morning light of the Florida coast, and watching the sun set from the hot tub is one of the most relaxing things on earth. We have a gas grill in case your group likes to BBQ, and there’s an outdoor shower as well, perfect for rinsing off sand from the beach before heading inside to refresh.

The beach is just around the corner less than a block away 50 yards (1-2 minutes walk), and there are two entrances. Because competition for beach seating can be fierce, I offer a SPECIAL PERK for my guests during the busy March to October season: FREE BEACH SEATING! I’ve contracted with a company that will set up 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas for your group, and we have tons of additional beach equipment at SeaBlue House (including a beach wagon). Beach access is public; one beach entrance has a pavilion with picnic seating, restrooms, and showers. Also, right nearby, you’ll find Camille’s, our favorite local spot for great food, views & breezes from the upstairs, and sometimes live music! We also have Henderson’s Rooftop Bar just around the corner, which offers gorgeous views of Henderson Park & Beach. Destin itself offers tons of great activities, dining & shopping – please don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations if there’s something, in particular, in particular you’re seeking!

The whole house is your group’s home base while you’re here! The pool, hot tub, golf cart, and beach chair service privileges in season – it’s all here to help you have a dream vacation! If you have any questions about anything that is included with your visit to SeaBlue House Destin, please don’t hesitate to send me a message, and I’ll be happy to provide more info.

The extra amenties are not required, but if you decide you would like to enjoy any of the amenties, the FEES are not due till two months before your stay

Guest Interaction
Touchless check-in is both easy and health-conscious (plus electronic locks mean no keys – except to the golf cart – they’re in the basket! I am located locally on most week to answer any of your questions, I’m always reachable by messenger or phone in case of an urgent issue, and I have someone on call to handle any issues when I’m not in the area. Our professional cleaners handle turnover between guests to ensure your family’s health and safety, so we ask that guests not arrive early or check out late to make sure they have sufficient time and we can minimize person-to-person interaction.

Gorgeous pool and hot tub, ideally set up for families to share space. Total remodel in spring 2023 , luxurious yet comfortable classic beach home decor. We provide great linens and tons of towels, as well as starter amenities like toiletries and paper goods; the grocery store is right nearby!

Getting Around Destin
SeaBlue Cottage is super walkable to the beach, Camille’s Restaurant, the Henderson Rooftop Bar, and several other cute local spots. Our 6-person golf cart is a great way to zip around, and Ubers are available if you don’t want to drive home from dinner. Boat rentals and tours are available.
