„Last weekend we stayed at the Wiveton Bell for two nights. I have to report that the pub has changed hands since we were last there. The room we had was well appointed; a small snug with two easy chairs, coffee table and sideboard ......kettle, coffee machine, magazines etc.... and a separate roomy bedroom with a TV and plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space plus a modern ensuite.  We had several issues regarding the room. „Staff were very helpful even found me an iron as we were going to a family wedding. The rooms were clean and tidy, and comfy bed. They thought of everything yoghurts, butter, bread milk, juice, cereal if you require an early start. Otherwise a beautifully cooked English breakfast by Duncan all fresh produce and tea or coffee. „The room was clean,the stairs were difficult for us but we are in our 80s,the pub is located in a quiet area with easy parking ,both nights we were able to park close by.The breakfasts were well presented with generous helpings.“

„Terrible mattress on one of the 3 single beds in my room. Single meaning really narrow. I actually switched beds in the middle of the night, for a better but still far too lumpy mattress for my taste. Staff and owners were great, breakfast was good, but ultimately a pub up on a hill with rather rowdy guests on a friday night. Still: value for money, but I‘ll rather spend a bit more next time.“
