A bit disappointed that breakfast was not served until 9.00 am, although they did offer me a take away hamper. This was a business trip so I could not hang around for breakfast. "The room was very nice, the pub is pretty, and the village is pretty. However the listing was misleading - the restaurant doesn't function midweek, and they don't do breakfast either during the week. I was walking, and didn't want to walk more miles to eat. It's not hard to provide a cold breakfast. So make sure you check whether they're doing food if it matters to you. "

The park is generally quiet anyway but this lodge backs on to the trees at the top of the end of the park, furthest away from the swimming pool, tennis courts etc but not a far walk at all as the site is quite small.
