„This was our second stay at Heron’s Hideway. The location is wonderful on a peaceful, beautiful lake and yet close to Florence a charming town with good shopping and many great restaurants. The hosts are very accommodating and ensure your stay is perfect. The provided kayaks allow you to get out onto the lake.We hope to return and highly recommend!“

„Great house and amenities. The table tennis and air hockey were a big hit with our family. The dock was so great to have. We swam in the river and took the air tubes out. The kitchen was great; we made dinner every night. We had some trouble with the AC when we first arrived, but Vaca helped reimburse us for a fan. The location is great. We mostly heading over to Florence and up the coast. The Sweet Creek Falls trail is a must see as well. “

„Overall we had an amazing vacation here, however a few things i was surprised by. The house is not red, its more of a grey, and the downstairs has a separate key code to enter that is easy to miss in the emails you receive the day before check in, but it is there (just be patient, lol). The gravel road getting up to the house is less than ideal, and a gate you have to get out and open to get down the driveway (that was never mentioned in the listing). Breathtaking views !! Easy access to the ...

„Such a nice little cottage and area. Enjoyed the deep water dock, and got some fishing in while we were there. Everything we needed for our trip, plenty of amenities, fridge, stove and kitchen area were nice and has a wood stove and outdoor area with a fire pit. Used the gas grill outside and enjoyed the beautiful view as much as we could while visiting. Saw lots of hummingbirds, and the place has lots of art installed around. Highly recommend a stay here“

Everything was clean and camper amenities are well thought out. Location is in quiet neighbor thats literally mins from everything you would want to do in Florence. „Great place in the country!!! Beautiful surroundings, lovely tiny home with a king-sized bed, well-appointed kitchen, and the ability to shower or soak under the stars or under clear blue skies. Minimal road noise, and fun to stay in lodging that’s off the electrical grid (which was no problem at all!) Tables and chairs and awning outside for picnicking, and the hosts were lovely. Would definitely stay here again!“
